International Graduate Program (LL.M.) Application Process
The deadline to receive applications and all supporting materials is May 31, 2013. Students whose language of instruction was not English must submit an acceptable and official score, no more than two years old, on the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS. Applicants must also complete the application through LSAC; submit an application fee; provide transcripts, diplomas, and certificates; complete financial documents; and obtain a letter of recommendation. Fall 2013 LLM Instructions
You must apply to Alabama through the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) online application at www.lsac.org. In order to apply, you first must create an LLM account through
www.lsac.org. (Once you reach www.lsac.org, click on “Future LLM Students” and “Create an Account.”) Second, you register for the LLM Credential Assembly Service (LLM CAS) Document Assembly Service, which includes a fee to LSAC, in order for LSAC to electronically submit your application to law schools. Finally, complete your Alabama Law International LL.M. application. The Admissions Committee encourages you to apply in the fall to ensure time to process visas and other special documents.
