SECTION 1 - COLQUITT
FALL, 2002
August
13, 2002
This file contains announcements about the course. For
example, if a class is rescheduled, that fact will be reported in a timely fashion through
this file. You may "get the word" through this file even before hearing the
announcement in class.
Chief Justice
Rehnquist of the United States Supreme Court will visit the Law School on
November 22, 2002. He will present the Albritton Lecture on that date. The
presentation presently is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Other activities will also be
scheduled for that date. This is a great opportunity for you. Naturally, you are
encouraged to attend this program.
If enough students
in this course want interactive discussion groups, I will create an interactive website
for you. Such a website would include Discussion Forums that could give you the option of
establishing a discussion group for private online discussions of course materials.
In such forums, any
discussion group could at its option elect to open the discussion threads to support study
of other courses. The forum would not need to be limited to Criminal Law, but the forum rules
should be
established by the forum members once the forum is formed. Although I would not
normally participate in forum discussions, I would have access to the
discussions. Moreover, all participants would have to adhere to all Law School
rules.
Movies list available.
A file, Movies, was added to this site during 1997. Since that time, the list has grown. Members of previous classes have watched and enjoyed a number of the listed movies. Check the Miscellaneous page.
Links to other sites are available in the Miscellaneous file. Simply click on the MISC. button below.
