Poverty Law - LAW 769

2-3 Hours

This course has three overlapping goals: to consider the legal, social and economic problems affecting our nationís poor; to develop the skills and substantive knowledge needed to provide effective advocacy for low income clients; and to think about the structural causes of poverty. The class will involve some field work.
