Sexuality and the Law - LAW 632
1-3 HoursThis course examines the legal regulation of human sexuality. Topics covered may include: the history of legal and social treatment of non-traditional sexual orientations, constitutional protections for sexual minorities, government regulation of sexual conduct, legal recognition of same-sex and other alternative relationships, polygamy, parent-child relationships in non-traditional families, discrimination according to sexual orientation in employment, public services or public accommodations, sexual expression and freedom of association.
