Clinic - Community Development Clinic (full year clinic) - LAW 665

2 + 2 Hours

Students provide legal assistance to individuals and non-profit or community organizations seeking to improve the economic, cultural, social, or environmental well-being of disadvantaged or underserved communities. Students may provide legal advice of representation on matters such as entity formation (e.g., articles or incorporation bylaws), tax exempt status, leases and contracts, public participation rights (e.g., public records and open meetings),improving local and state laws and regulations, licensing requirements, and zoning and land use. This is a full-year clinic (i.e. students will be in the clinic for both the fall and spring semesters).(PS)
