Survey course on United States immigration law, focusing on the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA). This course covers the constitutional foundations of the federal government's power to regulate admission, removal, and detention; immigration based on family relationships, employment, or humanitarian considerations under the INA; the grounds of inadmissibility and removability; waivers and relief from removal; immigration enforcement; and asylum policy.
