Associate Dean for Academic Affairs
Claude Reeves Arrington
Associate Dean Arrington received her B.A. from Randolph-Macon Woman's College in 1993. She earned the J.D. degree from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1999. For the next year, she served as a law clerk for Justice Jean Brown of the Alabama Supreme Court. Ms. Arrington came to the Law School in August 2000, as the recruitment and scholarship coordinator and was named Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in August 2012. Ms. Arrington is responsible for student-exclusion matters, meetings with student organizations, and student requests to add or drop courses or postpone examinations. She also supervises the Registrar’s Office. Associate Dean Arrington assists the Dean in finding visitors and adjunct professors and works with the Dean and Registrar’s Office to establish the course schedule and active curriculum. Ms. Arrington is a member of the American Bar Association and the Alabama State Bar.
