Cynthia Lee Almond

Cynthia Lee Almond is the supervising attorney for the Foreclosure Relief Clinic, which she does on a part-time basis. She also is an attorney in the private practice of law in Tuscaloosa, where she focuses on general business law and probate and estate planning. She received a B.A. and J.D from The University of Alabama. After graduating from law school, she practiced law for three years before returning to The University, where she worked for over a decade at the law school and was its Assistant Dean for Advancement. In that capacity, she served as the Law School’s chief fundraiser and also as manager of the Law School Foundation. She returned to private law practice in 2006. In addition to working at the law school and practicing law, Ms. Almond has served on the Tuscaloosa City Council as the representative for District 3, since first being elected in 2005. She is a graduate of Leadership Alabama.
