DALE B. STONE has been an Adjunct Professor at the University Of Alabama School Of Law for over ten years having taught Estate Planning in both the undergraduate and the LLM programs. He is a shareholder with Dominick Feld Hyde, P.C. in Birmingham, Alabama. He received his Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, and his law degree from the University of Alabama. He received his Master of Law in Taxation from New York University. For over thirty years, Mr. Stone has practiced in the areas of estate planning, business succession planning, probate law and estate administration, and tax law. Regularly listed in The Best Lawyers in America and SuperLawyers Alabama in area of Trusts and Estates, Mr. Stone has been named multiple times as ABest of the Bar@ in the area of Estate Planning in the Birmingham Business Journal=s poll of Birmingham area attorneys. Mr. Stone is a Fellow and Alabama State Chair of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. He is a member and past president of the Birmingham Estate Planning Council and has been designated an Accredited Estate Planner by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils. Mr. Stone is also a frequent speaker at professional education seminars, where he presents topics related to income, estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes.
