Assistant Dean for Public Interest
Ms. McLaughlin is the Assistant Dean for Public Interest Law. She oversees the operations of the Public Interest Institute, directs student public interest activities such as service awards and community volunteer opportunities, and provides counseling on careers in public interest law. Ms. McLaughlin earned her B.A., magna cum laude, in English and History from Xavier University; M.A. in English - Professional Writing from the University of Cincinnati; and J.D., magna cum laude, from The University of Alabama. While at Alabama Ms. McLaughlin was on the National Moot Court Team, the Executive Board of the Public Interest Institute, and was named to the Order of the Coif. She came to the Law School in 2012 from the law firm Redden, Mills & Clark.
