Professor Brant is a member of the law faculty at Ohio Northern University. She earned her A.B. from Cornell University and J.D. from Case Western Reserve. Prior to joining the faculty, Professor Brant practiced law in Cleveland, Ohio with the firms of Thompson, Hine & Flory and Squire, Sanders & Dempsey where she specialized in labor and employment litigation. From 1986 to 1987 she clerked for Chief Justice Pierce Lively of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Professor Brant has served on the Attorney General’s Ethics and Professional Responsibility Advisory Council, ABA site inspection team, and as the Chair of the AALS Section on Law and Religion. She will teach a seminar on Church-State Litigation in Spring 2012.
