Graduate Degree Programs
The Graduate Department offers three graduate degree programs.The LL.M. in Taxation and the LL.M. Concentration in Business Transactions are professional LL.M. programs designed for outstanding candidates who cannot attend classes on campus. The International LL.M. is for foreign lawyers and must be completed in residence.
LL.M. Concentration in Taxation (online)
The Graduate Tax program provides an educational opportunity to obtain an advanced degree in tax law that is both broad-based but also in-depth. Students can choose electives allowing for concentrations in either Estate Planning or Business Tax.
LL.M. Concentration in Business Transactions (online)
The Graduate Business Concentration trains lawyers to serve the needs of clients throughout the life cycle of a business venture. The program offers technical training and skills based instruction all through live, interactive online technologies.
The International LL.M. is a one-year program for foreign lawyers who have completed a basic legal education and received a university degree in law in another country. Students must be in residence in The University of Alabama School of Law for this program.
