Any statement, testimonial, endorsement, opinion or recommendation contained in a law student’s work does not constitute a guarantee, warranty or prediction regarding the ultimate result or outcome of a particular matter.

DISCLAIMER AND ATTORNEY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
By making a request for the assistance of a law student, you acknowledge (i) you are a licensed attorney in good standing with a participating legal organization; (ii) it is your responsibility to decide upon the ultimate use of the research done by the law student; (iii) you will delegate or assign to the law student only such tasks or projects as are appropriate for a law student to perform; (iv) your obligation to provide the law student with the necessary information and/or any relevant information and/or documents to complete the request; (v) the request will not be used in conjunction with any civil action against the State of Alabama or the University of Alabama and any of its agencies, and (vi) you will obtain any necessary consent from your client regarding confidential information or materials that may be disclosed pursuant to the research request, and (vii) your use of the law student’s work shall in no way be construed to create an attorney-client relationship herein. If a third party claim is filed against the University of Alabama, University of Alabama School of Law or any employees in connection with your use of student research provided by this service, you agree to indemnify the law school for reasonable expenses, legal or otherwise, incurred as a result of that claim.
