Professor Horwitz featured on Federalist Society podcast

February 12, 2013

Paul Horwitz, Gordon Rosen Professor of Law, recently participated in a podcast for the Federalist Society regarding his book, First Amendment Institutions.  Professor Horwitz suggests institutions that exercise their 1st amendment freedoms should have a certain level of autonomy from the state.  Horwitz believes that such an approach would enhance these institutions’ role in social and political life, thus making the state a part of our social framework, as opposed to an overbearing sovereign.
