Orientation for First Year Class

August 9 - August 13

Welcome to Alabama Law!  Please park in the West Parking Lot (Coleman Coliseum side of the Law School).  Enter through the West Entrance (also known as the Student Entrance).  Immediately inside, pick up your nametag, your Orientation materials, and a “LAW” parking decal.  The LAW decal hangs behind your primary University parking decal and allows you to park in the Law School’s parking lot at any time.

As of August 6, 2021, masks must be worn:

  • In classrooms and classroom buildings, regardless of distancing
  • In personal meeting spaces, such as meetings with faculty and advisors
  • When gathering in common spaces, such as the Student Center
  • On campus transportation

 

Exceptions include:

  • Indoor areas when distanced
  • When alone in offices and private workspaces
  • In residence hall rooms
  • While eating or drinking
  • While exercising
  • Faculty teaching, if distanced and behind plexiglass
