Loren Rafferty received a B.A. in English from Emory University in 2014 and graduated with her J.D. magna cum laude from The University of Alabama School of Law in 2016.
During law school, Ms. Rafferty was a member of multiple student organizations including the Public Interest Student Board and served as a Student Ambassador for the Law School Admissions Office. After graduation, she worked briefly in private practice before being appointed as an Assistant District Attorney for the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Alabama. As an Assistant District Attorney, she prosecuted felony cases in Tuscaloosa County including capital murder, violent crimes, sex offenses, drug crimes, and crimes against children.
She joined the Law School as Assistant Director of Admissions in December 2018. As the Assistant Director of Admissions, Ms. Rafferty is responsible for recruiting prospective students, hosting visitors to the Law School, and assisting with the administration of admissions and recruitment programs.
