Jim Barger, Jr. is a founder and partner of Frohsin, Barger, L.L.C., which specializes in a white collar practice including the civil False Claims Act and the Arms Export Control Act (AECA). Mr. Barger's pro bono work includes appellate representation of death row inmates. Mr. Barger has been distinguished as both a "Rising Star" and an "Alabama Super Lawyer" by Super Lawyers, an "Outstanding Young Lawyer" in Business Alabama, and a "Top Attorney" by Birmingham Magazine. Mr. Barger serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Alabama School of Law, teaching White Collar Practice. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Nicrosi served as a federal prosecutor for more than 16 years. After graduating law school, she joined the United States Department of Justice in Washington, DC. She was appointed to the DOJ under the Attorney General's Honor Program. In 1995, Ms. Nicrosi transferred to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Alabama, and served as Chief of the Criminal Division from 1997-2001. She has been elected President of the Board of Directors for the Alabama Post Conviction Relief Project, and has served as a former member and district Vice President for the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. Ms. Nicrosi received her undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and her J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law.
