Marcel L. Debruge

Marcel Debruge is a partner at Burr & Forman and Chair of the firm's Labor & Employment Practice Group. He focuses his practice on representing management in all aspects of Labor & Employment law, including litigation before the federal and state courts and administrative agencies. Marcel's practice ranges from matters related to wrongful discharge, sexual harassment, invasion of privacy, employment discrimination, and labor relations to violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Family and Medical Leave Act and litigation of employment contracts and restrictive covenants such as non-compete agreements. Richard Jaffe is the senior partner of Jaffe & Drennan in Birmingham, AL, concentrating in the areas of Criminal Defense and Personal Injury. Prior to entering private practice Mr. Jaffe served as Assistant Attorney General for the State of Alabama and Deputy District Attorney for Tuscaloosa County. Mr. Jaffe is the founder and past president of the Greater Birmingham Criminal Defense Lawyer's Association and taught Evidence at Miles Law School for eight years. Mr. Jaffe is the author of the book, "Quest for Justice: Defending the Damned." Mr. Jaffe received his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law.

Carey McRae, a partner in the Birmingham office of Bradley Arant Boult Cummings, represents a broad spectrum of healthcare providers, including hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, home health agencies, psychiatric hospitals, and inpatient rehabilitation hospitals in connection with their state and federal regulatory issues as well as certain litigation matters involving regulatory, peer review, and reimbursement issues. In addition to being recognized as Birmingham's 2015 Lawyer of the Year in Health Care Law, he has been listed in the Best Lawyers in America and Alabama Super Lawyers and has served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at both Cumberland School of Law and the University of Alabama School of Law. Frances Quick is a shareholder of Maynard, Cooper & Gale, P.C., in Birmingham, Alabama. She practices in the areas of employee benefits and executive compensation. SAMUEL E. STUMPF, JR. Sam Stumpf is a member of the firm Bass, Berry & Sims, PLC, in Nashville, Tennessee. He focuses primarily on privately-held companies, counseling clients on mergers and acquisitions and private equity and venture capital transactions. He is also experienced in working with franchisors and franchisees in franchise system formation; franchise agreement negotiations and franchise regulatory matters; investment managers in the formation of hedge funds and other investment partnerships; and investment advisors and broker-dealers in a variety of registration and compliance matters. Chad Tindol serves as Director of Risk Management and Deputy General Counsel, University of Alabama System, where he is responsible for the coordination of risk management functions throughout the University of Alabama System. Prior to joining the UA System, Mr. Tindol served as Associate Dean of Academic Services, University of Alabama School of Law; practiced law in Coffee County, Alabama; and clerked for the Honorable W.
