Jim Barger, Jr. is a founder and partner of Frohsin, Barger, L.L.C., which specializes in a white collar practice including the civil False Claims Act and the Arms Export Control Act (AECA). Mr. Barger's pro bono work includes appellate representation of death row inmates. Mr. Barger has been distinguished as both a "Rising Star" and an "Alabama Super Lawyer" by Super Lawyers, an "Outstanding Young Lawyer" in Business Alabama, and a "Top Attorney" by Birmingham Magazine. Mr. Barger serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Alabama School of Law, teaching White Collar Practice. Celia Collins is a member of the law firm Johnstone Adams, LLC. of Mobile, Alabama. She practices in the areas of labor and employment law, and has experience with civil rights work related to Fair Housing Discrimination Claims. Ms. Collins serves as Secretary, Board of Trustees of the United Way of South Alabama; Member, Alabama State Bar Board of Bar Examiners; Member of the Alabama State Bar Board of Bar Commissioners; and Member, Executive Committee of the Mobile Bar Association. Marcel Debruge is a partner at Burr & Forman and Chair of the firm's Labor & Employment Practice Group. He focuses his practice on representing management in all aspects of Labor & Employment law, including litigation before the federal and state courts and administrative agencies. Marcel's practice ranges from matters related to wrongful discharge, sexual harassment, invasion of privacy, employment discrimination, and labor relations to violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Family and Medical Leave Act and litigation of employment contracts and restrictive covenants such as non-compete agreements. Philip Reich serves as Executive Assistant to the Chancellor, University of Alabama; and Director of Special Programs and Deputy General Counsel, University of Alabama System. Previously, Mr. Reich served, for twenty years, as Presiding Circuit Judge of Lawrence County, Alabama. Upon retiring from the bench, Mr. Reich maintained a mediation practice serving over ten counties in the state of Alabama in domestic, civil and appellate matters. Mr. Reich teaches in the Honors College, University of Alabama and serves on the President?s Cabinet of the University. Mr. Reich received his undergraduate degree and his J.D. from the University of Alabama.

Cooper Shattuck serves as General Counsel, University of Alabama System where he represents the Board of Trustees, affiliated entities and senior management in all legal matters, and is responsible for the delivery of all legal services for the System, its three campuses and affiliated entities, including the retention and management of outside counsel. Cathy Wright is a founder and principal of Clarus Consulting Group, a consultancy specializing in organizational development, communications, training, strategic and business planning and facilitation. Prior to founding Clarus Consulting Group, Ms. Wright was a founding member and shareholder of Maynard Cooper & Gale, P.C., Birmingham, Alabama, where her practice focused on business litigation. Ms. Wright served as law clerk for United States District Judge Frank M. Johnson upon her graduation from law school. Ms. Wright has served as a practitioner-in-residence and as Adjunct Faculty, University of Alabama School of Law; Adjunct Faculty, Samford University Cumberland School of Law; and Instructor, Duke University?s Environmental Leadership (DEL) Program. Ms. Wright is the author of A Report on the Status of Women in Leadership in Alabama, published by the Alabama Women?s Initiative (2002).
