Alex Buchanan is Counsel at Waller Lansden Dortch & Davis, LLP, where he uses his knowledge of tax-exempt bond transactions and public purpose debt funding to assist in loan transactions, mergers and acquisitions, private placements of equity and debt securities, and healthcare transactions. Mr. Buchanan is a member of the Nashville, Tennessee, and American Bar Associations, the American Health Lawyers Association, and the National Association of Bond Lawyers; a former Trustee, Executive Committee Member, and Secretary of the Cheekwood Fine Arts Center; a past President of the Exchange Club of Nashville; and a former Board Member of Easter Seals Tennessee, Inc., Girl Scout Council of Cumberland Valley, and the Vanderbilt Club.
