Cynthia Almond is a sole practitioner in Tuscaloosa. Her practice focuses on business, probate, and estate planning law. Ms. Almond serves on the Tuscaloosa City Council; the Board of First National Bank of Central Alabama; and the Board of West Alabama Regional Planning Commission. She is a graduate of Leadership Alabama. Ms. Almond received her B.A. from the University of Alabama and her J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law.

Cooper Shattuck serves as General Counsel, University of Alabama System where he represents the Board of Trustees, affiliated entities and senior management in all legal matters, and is responsible for the delivery of all legal services for the System, its three campuses and affiliated entities, including the retention and management of outside counsel. Prior to joining the UA System, Mr. Shattuck served as the Chief Legal Advisor for Governor Robert Bentley, and practiced with two law firms: Rosen Harwood P.A. and Hubbard, Smith, McIlwain, Brakefield & Shattuck, P.C, both of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Mr. Shattuck received his B.S. in Economics from Georgia Tech and his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law.
