ELIZABETH H. HUNTLEY. Liz Huntley is Of Counsel to the firm Lightfoot, Franklin & White, LLC, in Birmingham, Alabama. She practices in the areas of banking and financial services, consumer law, business litigation and products liability. Liz serves on DRI's Diversity for Success Seminar Committee and is active in the Alabama Sate and Birmingham Bar Associations. She is also a well-known child advocate, serving on several boards such as Leadership Alabama Board of Directors, Children's First Foundation Board of Directors, and Children's Village Board of Directors, and is also the President and Co-Founder of Project Gear. Mr. James is senior counsel in the Birmingham, Alabama office of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, P.C. His practice focuses on employment law and he counsels on issues related to numerous labor and employment laws, including Title VII and the ADA. Mr. James has been awarded the Sam W. Pipes Distinguished Alumnus Award by the University of Alabama School of Law and recognized in Alabama Super Lawyers, The Best Lawyers in America, and AV Preeminent Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Frank is currently a trustee and a past chairman of the Board of Directors for the YMCA of Metro Birmingham; member of the Board of Directors, Board of Pensions, Presbyterian Church; past director of Kiwanis Club of Birmingham; and past President of the University of Alabama Law School Foundation Board of Directors. He was a Colonel in the United States Army; clerked for the Honorable Virgil Pittman, S.D. AL; served as an Assistant United States Attorney; and was a Professor of Law at the University of Alabama School of Law. Mr. James received his undergraduate degree from Campbell College and his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law.

Debbie Long is Executive Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel of Protective Life Corporation whose principal subsidiaries include Protective Life Insurance Company and West Coast Life Insurance Company.
Prior to becoming General Counsel of Protective Life in 1992, Ms. Long was a member of Maynard, Cooper & Gale, P.C., Birmingham, Alabama, where she practiced in the areas of insurance, banking and finance, business acquisitions and mergers, and general corporate law. Prior to entering law practice, Ms. Long clerked for the Honorable Frank M. Johnson, United States Circuit Court for the Fifth Circuit (now Eleventh Circuit). Ms. Long has served as Chair of the Legal Section of the American Council of Life Insurers; Chair of the Judiciary Committee of the Business Counsel of Alabama; President of the Alabama Life and Disability Insurance Guaranty Association; Vice-Chair of the Texas Life & Health Insurance Guaranty Association; Member of the Board of Governors and as President of the Association of Life Insurance Counsel, an international bar association for life insurance lawyers; Chair of the Board of the Alabama Women?s Commission (appointed by Alabama Governor Bob Riley); and on the Boards of various Birmingham charitable organizations, including Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Greater Birmingham; the YWCA of Birmingham; Oasis Women?s Counseling Center; Birmingham Museum of Art; and Partners in Neighborhood Growth, Inc. Emily Price is Of Counsel with the firm Price Armstrong LLC in Birmingham, Alabama. She has experience in construction disputes, securities fraud cases, and First Amendment litigation.
