Jim Barger, Jr. is a founder and partner of Frohsin, Barger, L.L.C., which specializes in a white collar practice including the civil False Claims Act and the Arms Export Control Act (AECA). Mr. Barger's pro bono work includes appellate representation of death row inmates. Mr. Barger has been distinguished as both a "Rising Star" and an "Alabama Super Lawyer" by Super Lawyers, an "Outstanding Young Lawyer" in Business Alabama, and a "Top Attorney" by Birmingham Magazine. Mr. Barger serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Alabama School of Law, teaching White Collar Practice. He is an award-winning travel and fly-fishing writer, having visited more than thirty countries on six continents with by-lines in periodicals such as Field & Stream, Sports Afield, and Sporting Tales. Mr. Barger received his B.A. from Furman University, his M.A. from the University of Mississippi, and his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law.
