Alyce Manley Spruell serves as Of Counsel to the law firm, Rosen Harwood, P.A., Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Prior to joining the Rosen firm, Ms. Spruell served as Administrative Director of Courts; and as Director of the Legal Division, State of Alabama, Unified Judicial System. Prior to her service with the State of Alabama, Ms. Spruell was managing partner, Spruell & Powell LLC, Northport, Alabama, where her practice focused on general civil litigation, employment and business law, legislative and regulatory law, and alternative dispute practice.
Ms. Spruell has served as President, Alabama Bar Association (2010-2011); Member, Alabama Law Foundation Board of Directors; Member, Alabama State Bar Volunteer Lawyers Program; Chair, Protocol and Security Subcommittee, Alabama State Bar, Digital Communications Task Force; and Member, Chamber of Commerce, West Alabama?s Public Affairs Council. Ms. Spruell is a 2008 graduate of Leadership Alabama and served as a founding co-chair for the Alabama State Bar?s Leadership Class. Ms. Spruell received her B.A. from Vanderbilt University and her J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law.
