Susan Doss is a partner with Bradley, Arant, Boult & Cummings, LLP, in Birmingham, Alabama. Susan represents financial institutions and corporate clients in a wide range of business transactions, focusing especially on commercial lending and other financial transactions while also advising on compliance with state and federal regulatory schemes, particularly in the area of banking law. Recognized as both an Alabama Super Lawyer and as among the Best Lawyers in America, Susan also devotes significant time to charitable activities, including serving on the Board of Directors of Alabama Appleseed Center for Law & Justice, in the President's Cabinet at the University of Alabama, as a Director and member of the Executive Committee of the University of Alabama Law School Foundation, and past Chair of the Farrah Law Alumni Society. Susan received the Marcus Whitman Finance Award and her B.S. summa cum laude from the University of Alabama. She then earned her J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law, where she was a Hugo Black Scholar, Dean M. Leigh Harrison Award winner and on the Managing Board of the Alabama Law Review, as well as a recipient of Order of the Coif, and the Presidential Scholarship.
