SAMUEL E. STUMPF, JR. Sam Stumpf is a member of the firm Bass, Berry & Sims, PLC, in Nashville, Tennessee. He focuses primarily on privately-held companies, counseling clients on mergers and acquisitions and private equity and venture capital transactions. He is also experienced in working with franchisors and franchisees in franchise system formation; franchise agreement negotiations and franchise regulatory matters; investment managers in the formation of hedge funds and other investment partnerships; and investment advisors and broker-dealers in a variety of registration and compliance matters. Sam has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America as Nashville Securities Law Lawyer of the Year (2015); Nashville Franchise Law Lawyer of the Year (2013); and Nashville Corporate Law Lawyer of the Year (2012).
