Setting up Email on Android

  • Go to Settings on your device.
  • From there you should see a section titled Accounts.
  • Click on Add Account, then click on the option titled Exchange.
  • Here you will enter the email provided to you by the School of Law. The format should be ualaw1\firstname.lastname
  • You will then be prompted to enter a password. (The same password that is used when you log into your webmail.)
  • After you have finished typing in your password, click enter. You should now be at a screen that looks like the one shown below.
  • Please input the information into the required fields as follows:
    • USERNAME: Your username is the information that precedes the (example:
    • PASSWORD: Your password will be the same one you use to log into your webmail.
    • SERVER: The server is
    • PORT: The port should automatically default to 443 but if it does not please enter it in manually.
  • If all the information was inputted correctly you should now see a screen like the one shown below. This is where you will choose your sync settings between your law school account and your phone
  • Please confirm your sync preferences to finalize setting up your Law School email
