Local Government Law - LAW 677
This course deals with legal problems involved in the organization and operation of the various kinds of local government units, such as cities, counties, and special purpose districts. The scope of their powers, legal structures affecting their fiscal affairs, the nature and extent of liabilities in contract and tort, and personnel problems are among the subjects covered.
