Legal Writing II - LAW 648

This course focuses on teaching students to think and write persuasively as they learn to write an appellate brief. Students prepare intermediate assignments, including outlines, source lists, and standards of review, as well as two drafts of the brief. At each stage, students receive extensive group and individual feedback; students are also required to conference with their professors. Students then learn to present an effective oral argument. Throughout this course, students receive instruction on developing their professional identity.
