Lezlie A. Griffin was named the Assistant Dean for Career Services at The University of Alabama School of Law in May 2015. She oversees all operations of the Career Services Office. This includes mapping strategies for employer recruitment, student and alumni counseling, resource allocation, and career services programming. Prior to this position, Ms. Griffin served the Law School as an Assistant Director for Career Services. An Alabama native, Ms. Griffin is an alumna of Troy University, where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism & Public Relations. She earned her Juris Doctor and her Master of Laws in International & Comparative Law, with distinction, from Tulane Law School. Ms. Griffin previously practiced labor and employment law in Florida as Staff Attorney for the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees. She also served as a Career Counselor and Coordinator of Diversity Initiatives at Tulane Law School, where she worked with both the career services and admissions offices. Ms. Griffin is an active member of The Florida Bar and The Association for Legal Career Professionals (NALP). She was elected to serve on the 2014 NALP Annual Education Conference Planning Committee and also selected as a lead speaker for the 2015 Conference.
