He’s in the process of earning a Coast Guard License as a Master of a 100 Gross Ton Vessel. He also knows that attorneys are necessary to safeguard the Gulf. More »

Sara Beth DeLisle
Class of 2010
B.A. Wake Forest

Sara Beth knows the importance of words. She has studied multiple languages and learned how changing a single word can have dramatic consequences. She saw this first-hand when she worked in Spain as an English instructor for several international corporations. She also learned the importance of words to practicing attorneys. “I believe the job of a lawyer is to use words to defend, protect, and ensure justice in our communities.” After she graduates, she hopes to do just that. Leroy Nix
Class of 2009
B.A. Montevallo

Leroy grew up as the oldest of four on a dirt road in a rural Alabama town. He always did well in school…at least in regard to his studies. “I can remember my little sister coming home and telling me, ‘Brother, Mrs. Conway said that when you were in her class you were the smartest kid she had. But, you always got in trouble for talking too much.’ I couldn’t deny the talking, because it was true.” More »

Blair Newman
Class of 2006
B.A. Washington & Lee
Home: New York, NY
